Kenpo Orange Belt Techniques

DANCE OF DEATH (Right punch)
The attacker throws a straight right punch.
1. Left to 11:00 with a left inward block.
2. Right ridge hand to groin causing the attacker to bend forward.
3. Track your left hand down his body to the back of the right knee as your head slides up the arm to check the elbow.
4. Step through to 11:00 with your right and knee the attacker's inner thigh while you pull up on his leg, taking him down onto his back.
5. (Extension) As he tries to kick you, execute a right outward backfist to the inside of his right knee, circling to a right four-finger whip to the groin.
6. Grab the back of the heel with your right and the toes with your left.
7. Pivot to a forward bow and flip the attacker face down.
8. Left front cross-over stomp to the spine.
9. Hop off to 4:00 in a right crane and then deliver a left side kick stomp to the attacker's kidney.
10. As he raises his head, drop into a wide kneel with a right knife hand to the back of his neck.
11. Raise up with a right cross-over stomp to his spine.
12. Hop off to 11:00 and execute a right side kick to his head.


11. CROSSING TALON (Right cross-hand grab to the right wrist)
The attacker grabs your right wrist with his right hand.
1. Pin his grab with your left hand as you circle your right hand clockwise in a tight circle.
2. Step with your left foot to 2:00 as you grab his wrist with your right hand and execute a left inward block to his elbow with your left arm. This should take him down.

3. Deliver a left inward elbow to his head.
4. Track along the attacker's back and deliver a left downward elbow to his spine.
5. Deliver a right knee to his head.
14. THRUSTING SALUTE (Right Front Kick)
The attacker attempts a right front kick.
1. Step-drag back to 4:30 with a left downward block.
2. Right front kick to opponent's abdomen and then a right heel palm to the face as you plant forward.

3. (Extension) Left front cross with a left side fist to the face and a right downward knife hand to the body.
4. Untwist with a left inward elbow to the head.
5. Drop to a left close kneel with a right side fist to the groin.

16. OBSCURE WING (Left grab to right shoulder, from behind)
The attacker grabs your right shoulder with his left hand from the right side and slightly behind, at close range.
1. Pin his grab hand with your left hand and step to 3:00 with your right foot while executing a right elbow to his solar plexus.
2. Using point of origin, immediately drop a right hammer fist to the attacker's groin.
3. As he bends over execute a right upward elbow to his chin.
